Managing People
Many people when given the new role of "manager" have never actually been trained for their new responsibilities. This course has been designed for new or existing Managers to work together to gain the necessary skills to manage others.
The majority of the input sessions are generated by facilitator-led discussions. There will be role-plays and exercises to demonstrate new techniques gained during the course.
At the end of the course delegates will be able to differentiate between management by control and management by commitment and identify actions and management styles, which influence performance.
